ANSWER: The artefact below is the bottom of an English wine bottle, which was excavated from the cellar operation at the Grand-Pré National Historic Site this year. Congratulations to Jennifer Ferguson, who was very close!

I saw the exact artefact at the NB Museum in Saint John yesterday…It was part of a display of artefacts from a shipwreck. Very interesting!
